Excititng Times in DC!!

Hi Everyone,

This morning I left San Diego on a 6:30am flight and I arrived to the Ronald Regan Airport around 6:00pm eastern time. The airports have been consistently crowded with people flying in from all over the country in support of the inauguration of our 44th President, Barack Obama.

I was fortunate enough to be invited by the same Presidential Inaugural Conference as Whitney and other fellow Aztecs last Spring. Although the conference begins tomorrow evening, I decided to come a day early and make a trek up to Baltimore, Maryland to stay with family for the evening. My mode of transportation included the Metro where I purchased my commemorative Obama metro card, to the Union Station where I caught the MARC train up to Baltimore.

When I arrived in the Union station to catch my train, the main hall was already set up for one of the first Inaugural Balls being held tomorrow evening. There were also numerous kiosks with vendors selling Obama memorabilia and a variety of people arriving in awe of the beautiful set-up for the upcoming events.
Stay tuned for more events to come!
